First runner up:  Three sedans tied for the second highest rated front seat storage among 13 midsize sedans tested.

2013 Nissan Altima:  Launched in June of 2012, the new Altima has the top-rated glove box and scores above average for front cup holders and for center console, center instrument panel, and front door storage.

2013 Toyota Camry:  Redesigned for 2012, Camry scores above average for front cup holders and for glove box, center console, and center instrument panel storage.  Some find the average rated front door pockets a little small.

2013 Hyundai Sonata:  Redesigned in 2011, Sonata scores above average for front cup holders and for center console, center instrument panel, and front door storage.  The average rated glove box offers adequate storage for most.

And, the winner is…

2013 Ford Fusion:  Fusion has the best front seat storage of 13 midsize sedans tested, earning the top score for overall front storage, with best-in-class front cup holders, center console, center instrument panel, and front door storage.  Fusion’s glove box storage rated second to the Nissan Altima.  All in all, the 2013 Ford Fusion is the champion for finding the right place to put the all those things you find yourself carrying in your car.
