Honda Accord Consumer Reviews by True Consumer Reviews

December 27th, 2011

The Honda Accord is the second best-selling midsize sedan in the US behind the Toyota Camry.  So, how does it rate with midsize sedan segment owners?  To find out, we invited over 100 midsize sedan owners to a research facility to conduct a detailed evaluation of the Accord alongside 12 top competitors.

These owners rate Accord the comfort and visibility champion, awarding it top honors for front seat roominess, driver seat comfort, rear seat comfort and roominess, and overall visibility.  They rate Accord’s overall interior storage and value for the money above average.  From the outside though, Accord rates below average for exterior appearance, with segment owners finding it too plain looking.  Inside, they rate the appearance of Accord’s seats, seat material, steering wheel, and overall quality of interior materials above average.  However, the appearance of Accord’s center instrument panel, including its sound and climate controls, are viewed as negatives, rating below average.  For overall vehicle, Accord finishes in the top half of the 13 models tested, tying with the Nissan Altima and Subaru Legacy for 4th place behind the Hyundai Sonata, Kia Optima, and Toyota Camry.

In addition to Accord, we have the new Regal, Sonata, Optima, VW CC, and eight other models.  We’re the only website out there to have consumer sedan reviews based on actual True Consumer Reviews by large numbers of owners. Click here to start exploring the opinions we’ve gathered for you.
